Cf is a genetic disorder that leads to runaway inflammation and scarring of the lungs and pancreas, as well as other organs and usually results in a limited lifespan without extensive medical  intervention. Scarlett’s presence inspires us to channel our energies into research and development that holds promise for individuals like her and countless others facing similar challenges.
